Processual responsiveness in dialogic facilitation

Purpose The purpose of this paper is to elaborate on the role a group facilitator when taking dialogical stance. A special interest facilitator’s processual responsiveness and its potential for supporting dialogic approach process facilitation. Design/methodology/approach Theoretically, article based dialogue dialectic relationship theory. Empirically, it pragmatic analysis excerpts from audio recordings two-day facilitation with an organizational called KUDIAS. Findings highlights importance in terms focused attention as well interpersonal relations between participants process. Being processually responsive, supports becoming toward all participants’ perspectives creating climate characterized by curiosity, wondering, exploration recognition. However, also requires ability balance support confrontation. Originality/value Processual developed discussed theoretically empirically.
